Warranty
Last Updated: July 2026
NBE Australia Pty Ltd (“NBE Australia”) is committed to supplying reliable industrial door and PVC access systems supported by responsive local service.
This Warranty Policy provides a general overview of the warranties offered by NBE Australia. Applicable warranty periods, coverage and conditions vary depending on the product supplied and are confirmed in the quotation, order confirmation or accompanying warranty documentation. Where any inconsistency exists, the quotation and product-specific warranty documentation will prevail.
This Warranty Policy should be read together with the applicable quotation, Terms & Conditions, operating instructions and maintenance requirements supplied with the product.
1. Warranty Coverage
NBE Australia warrants that products supplied by NBE Australia and installed by NBE Australia (or an authorised installer where applicable) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions, subject to the applicable warranty period and the conditions outlined below.
Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Warranty Periods
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following standard warranty periods apply:
| Product | Standard Warranty |
|---|---|
| PE01 / SP01 / CAD01 / FR01 / CL01 | 24 months or 100,000 operating cycles, whichever occurs first |
| Essential Rapid Door (ES01) | 12-Month Standard Warranty. Extended warranty not available. |
| PVC Flex Systems (PVC01, PVS01 & PVW01) | 12 months on materials and workmanship |
Extended warranty programmes are available for selected NBE-manufactured rapid doors and will be specified in the quotation where applicable.
The ES01 Essential Rapid Door is supplied as a standard imported product. Warranty coverage is limited to the standard warranty period and does not include NBE Australia’s extended warranty programmes.
3. Warranty Conditions
Warranty coverage is subject to:
- normal operation of the product;
- installation carried out by NBE Australia or an authorised installer (where applicable);
- compliance with operating instructions;
- operation within the specified environmental conditions for the product;
- provision of a compliant and stable electrical supply where applicable;
- the product not being modified, relocated or repaired by unauthorised persons; and
- completion of the recommended preventative maintenance programme where specified.
During the warranty period, NBE Australia will, at its discretion, repair or replace defective NBE-supplied components covered under this warranty. Labour, travel and access costs for warranty attendance are included only where installation and preventative maintenance have been carried out by NBE Australia, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Otherwise, such costs may apply.
4. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from:
- misuse, abuse or negligence;
- accidental impact or collision;
- forklift, pallet, vehicle or equipment damage;
- unauthorised modifications or repairs;
- improper installation by others;
- non-compliant or unstable electrical supply;
- environmental conditions outside the product’s specified operating limits;
- normal wear and consumable components;
- failure to maintain the product in accordance with recommended maintenance requirements; or
- circumstances beyond NBE Australia’s reasonable control.
PVC Flex Systems (PVC01, PVS01 & PVW01)
PVC Flex Systems are flexible access and separation products designed for industrial and commercial environments. The appearance, performance and service life of PVC Flex Systems vary according to the operating environment and should not be interpreted as being guaranteed for the duration of the warranty period.
Factors that may accelerate wear or affect performance include, but are not limited to:
- forklift, trolley and pedestrian traffic;
- contact with pallets, loads, vehicles or equipment;
- UV exposure and direct sunlight;
- temperature and refrigeration conditions;
- wind, air pressure and ventilation;
- chemical, oil or cleaning agent exposure;
- repeated flexing, bending or impact; and
- frequency and manner of use.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, scratching, scuffing, abrasion, cosmetic clouding, fading, yellowing, discolouration, shrinkage, stiffening, distortion or deterioration resulting from normal use or environmental exposure. Damage resulting from misuse, impact, excessive wear, improper cleaning methods, operation outside the intended application or exposure to conditions beyond the product’s specified operating limits does not constitute a manufacturing defect.
NBE Australia reserves the right to inspect the equipment and determine the validity of any warranty claim prior to carrying out warranty work or supplying replacement components.

It does not extend to:
- consequential or indirect loss;
- production downtime;

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
8. Spare Parts Availability
NBE Australia aims to maintain reasonable availability of replacement parts for current product ranges. Availability of replacement parts for discontinued, superseded or imported products may vary depending on manufacturer and supplier availability. Where an identical replacement part is no longer available, NBE Australia may supply a suitable equivalent where reasonably practicable.
